Photography Passion

I have became interested in photography within the past two and a half years years. What had made me so interested in this particular art was storms. I wanted to become a storm chaser and take photos of storms that we have here in Saskatchewan. I had no luck for the past year and a half due to "lack of crappy weather" that we have had in the past two years. A year and a half a go I had bought a Canon Rebel Xsi Lens Kit which included two lenses a 15-55mm and a 55-200mm lens. I'm hoping to get a 55mm prime lens soon and a battery grip to improve my skills and photographs. I am self taught, and I join clubs around Regina and Weyburn. I have had great success with my photography and I really enjoy my work of art. I am now doing photos for family gatherings, sports events, graduations, landscaping, travelling, vehicles at car shows, weddings, and just random photo shoots for couples. I'm hoping to go to school and learn about more about the art and get my certificate to run a business one day along the road from now. I still have more things to organize for price ranges and bookings. I'm gonna be very busy this year during the summer for the first time so I'm hoping it all goes well for the first time doing photos for people.

If anyone needs or wants photos done, contact me on Facebook for more info.

Wings That Could Fly!

--(NHL Playoffs: DET vs. PHX)--

Well, the playoff season has begun...as well as the beards! Last night the NHL playoffs has kicked off as the Detroit Red Wings played the Phoenix Coyotes in the first series.

So, I came up with a conclusion; why the Detroit Red Wings and the Phoenix Coyotes should raise the "Holy Grail" in June.

Why??? Why the Red Wings?? The only team has Linstrom easily; the most experienced 41 year old and the most superior defense man in the NHL. Only one team has Datsyuk; the slickest two-way center man in the game. Only one team has Zetterberg; the bulldog with an offensive flair and an outstanding defensive instincts. The Wings lay with style that when they're healthy and working together its nearly impossible to stop. They don't dump the puck in so that their forwards can forcheck and pound; they dump puck in because its one of the best ways to start their offense. Detroit is a "puck obsession" team. The depth has in two-way forwards is remarkable and the defense is full of guys who can move the puck and take out the body. The Red Wings need to pound you because they wear you down with passing and puck retrieval. The answers to these questions are -- YES!! The Red Wings are back and they have the defense and the experience to go all the way AGAIN!

I was thinking..if the Coyotes win the series against the Red Wings..why should the Coyotes win the Stanley Cup? Here's my conclusion..

In order for the team Phoenix Coyotes to continue the fight for one battle; after another off the ice, it won't be long before they enjoy one heck of a celebration on the ice -- as the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions! Why??? Why the Phoenix Coyotes?? You cannot win a championship without goal-tending and a stingy defense. The Coyotes have both! The big uh-oh! The biggest question facing the Coyotes is undoubtedly their offense. The Coyotes have balance -- but its going to take "all-hands-on-deck" approach up front in order for their dream to come true! And here's the argument! The focus will likely be top-guns such as Vancouver, Detroit and San Jose; and let's not forget these Coyotes that they have won nearly 100 games in the past two regular seasons. The exclamation point will come to June as they will raise the Lord Stanley for the first time!

So into both of my conclusions...Will it be the Detroit Red Wings or the Phoenix Coyotes?? You decide; who shall win...!

GO DETROIT GO!

New To Blogging

I'm sorta new a this whole "blogging" thing but I thought I would give this a try and see where this goes...

(I apologize if this sounds so boring but I thought that I should introduce myself and talk little bit about my interests and activities as well..)

Well first off, my name is Tia. I have long brown natural curly hair with hazel eyes. I have to say I'm short; I'm more like 5'5". I was born and raised on a farm and I like to help out a lot with my dad with harvest during the fall. My friends are very important to me and as well as my family. I am the oldest out of 3 siblings in my family. The sports I play is golfing, curling, cup stacking (yes, it is and actual sport), lacrosse, and volleyball. I do enjoy going out for walks around Wascana or just anywhere, roller blading or out for a jog. I take dancing and bellydancing, as well as yoga and kick boxing. Getting into shape is my goal once again. I also enjoy woodworking such as finishing carpentry or flooring/tiling. Outside of work, I love painting and take pictures (photography) of anything from apples to zebras. I like listening to country music and techno music; gets me movin' in the morning and feel relaxed during the evening. One day, I want to learn how to play the guitar or learn how to become a DJ ( I'm pretty good with music). I do lots of writing and I really have enjoyed it since I was 5 years old as well as I'm a very good speller. I enjoy cooking and I think I am really good at it and I sometimes get very creative. I am a very friendly and a very happy person, as well as I get along with others well. I am adopted and I haven`t met my birth parents before and would like to someday in the near future. I love to travel and would do more of it in the future as well, and same with random road trips across Canada. I'm an outdoorsy girl who loves nature (I hate winter to be honest!!) I'm a funny, down-to-earth girl who will make you laugh! I am not offended by a dirty joke and the fact I can dish out one of my own. (I can be chezzy but I try to make people laugh). Sarcasm is a spice of life, so bring it on!

I will add more later and talk about actual topics of my interests and post photos of my photography work.
